Preregistration starts Jan 17th and all entries must be received on or before May 15th 2012 All entry fees are $60/vehicle and driver and 1 pit person for all classes. If a driver preregisters and competes in 2 or more different classes registration fees would be $50 for each of the classes he/she competes in. Trophies for top 3 in all classes. 19 and younger 80s, Compact car, Trucks (3 classes) Minimum of 8 entries and maximum of 12 for each class (3 classes) if we don’t get the minimum of 8 in Compact car or Trucks, that class will not be run. Less than 8 for the 19 and younger 80s they will be combined with the main 80s class, heats and prize money will be adjusted accordingly. 11-12 vehicles $600 $300 $100

Top 3 placers in the 80s newer 19yrs. And younger class will be able to keep all $$$ won in that class and may also advance to the main 80s newer feature to run for additional big money.
Trucks are any make end year ½ and ¾ ton only 2 or 4wd. Compact wheelbase is a Max of 107 inches.

CHAIN/ WIRE 80s car/Compact car all parts must be oem parts unless specified
1. Headers through hoods allowed. No bolting hood-skin opening. 2. Stock gas tanks must be removed. And a METAL tank, not plastic and not the tank you took out from under the car 7 gal max fuel tank located inside car strapped securely, no bungee straps, and properly covered with non-flammable material. Pump gas must be used, no race fuel, alcohol, aviation fuel, must be low octane fuel, if caught will other fuel will warrant disqualification 3.COMPACT: any foreign or domestic fwd or rwd car of 107” wheel base or smaller, NO awd car. 4. 80s: Mopar 1980 or newer, Ford 1980 or newer, all GM 1978 or newer (METRIC CARS ONLY). 5. Any ply tire allowed, Valve stem protectors are acceptable, skid-loader, Ag, or stuffed tires ok. 6. Radiators must remain in the stock location and be filled with water or eco-friendly antifreeze only- NO RACE RADIATORS, MUST BE OEM. May run electric fans. May be strapped in. 7. Transmission coolers are allowed. 8. Stock Rear ends may be swapped from any automotive car, 5 lug only, no bracing, no aftermarket axles, must be stock, may weld and swap gears, u may weld factory brackets to rear end to make fit, may shorten or lengthen FACTORY arms, cut and re-weld overlapping one inch, no adding metal or reinforcing factory trailing arm. No leaf conversions, or hump plates. May lengthen or shorten a stock driveshaft with a 6 inch sleeve and re-weld back together. NO AFTER-MARKET SLIDERS, or any form of collapsible driveshaft. 9. Bumper may be welded to Shocks, or directly to frame, shocks may be collapsed and welded, no extending shocks to make longer than stock, may be welded, bolted, wired, or chained to frame, so we don’t have loose bumpers on the track. You may trim ends. Bumpers are interchangeable from any mass produced car, with the exception of NO Chrysler V bumpers. And outer skin may be welded to inner structure with no added metal, and not reinforced in anyway. 10. May have two windshield bars from dash to roof to prevent hood from coming into driver compartment, may use #9 wire. U may run one bar in rear window track ¼ in thick; 2 inches wide welded or bolted must stay inside of rear window track. 11. If not running stacks through the hood a hole must be cut for fire safety. 12. Trunk lids and hood may be fastened in 6 places with chain 3/8 inch, wire (4 loops maximum). Sheet metal to sheet metal only, not frames. May tuck trunks but only fastened on top of lid. Two may go to or around bumper or frame. No chain binders. 13. Driver’s door may be welded shut, or reinforced, all others chained with 3/8 inch chain, or wire 4 strands. 2 per seam. No welding of any other doors or body but drivers door. The bottom of the door seams may be chained or wired threw the door and around the frame (total 8 locations through entire car, this includes body mount repairs) no using washers around holes. No wire in window openings other than drivers’ door, windshield, or rear window opening, 14. Frames must remain factory stock, may pre-bend or notch rear frame from axles back only, no tilting or cold bending. ABSOLUTELY NO WELDING ANYWHERE ON FRAME, unless specified, must be stock frame. 15. Stock suspensions must be left intact, no swapping spindles, a-arms, etc. You may chain up A-arms with 1 loop of 3/8 chain but, no welding, bolting up A arms, ball joints, or tie rods, may use spacers in sagging springs to gain bumper height not to exceed(28” 80s and 24” compact) to top of bumper, no solid suspensions, MUST BOUNCE, u can use two springs coiled together to gain rear height, if over u will have to lower to pass tech. unless pre-ran or prebent, u can wire springs in to keep from falling out, u can run 3 strands of wire or 3/8 chain from rear axle to frame in two locations, u can also run 3 strands of wire frame rail, to frame rail behind rear axle. 16. Batteries must be placed in the passenger’s side floorboard and secured and covered. 2 batteries allowed 17. U may alter steering column to prevent steering loss, but the rest of components must remain stock. 18. Two front hood pins ¾ diameter max will be allowed but must go thru front core support frame mount and nut and washer must be on inside of frame, and must go thru top of core support and thru hood, pin cannot be welded at any point, you may have a 3 x ¼ washer on top side of hood, 1 per pin. Radiator support bushings may be removed and bolted solid, 3 inch diameter washers max, 3/4 bolt size, 6 inch bolt max length, may stack 3 inch diameter washers or 3 inch diameter 3/16 thickness spacers to fill gap if u raise radiator support, core support mount only. All other Body mounts and bolts must remain stock and in position between the frame and the body. If you have a rotted mount u may run wire to frame to repair, (3 strands) no other repairs allowed to body mount. Only 8 locations through entire car may go from body around frame, this includes door bottoms. 19. No welding leaf springs or adding extra leafs. No leaf clamps, if factory band is broken u may use two stands of #9 wire to repair. Max 3 per leaf pack. 20. No welding or bolting anybody seams. Must be stock appearing, no creasing of sheet metal, with the exception of trunk lid and speaker deck may be pounded or wedged down no further than 6 inches at any point from top of rear fenders factory position. 21. Cutting for wheel clearance is allowed. No bolting or welding fenders. Absolutely no body rust or frame repair unless specified in rules, this includes preruns. 22. Homemade shifters allowed, may alter ignition and starter wires. 23. Driver’s side window nets allowed. 24. Motors are interchangeable, must be stock appearing, carb, dist, intake, valve covers, must be oem, must use a factory rubber lower mount, may be welded in the size of the factory mount, may also use wire or chain in to hold motor in place in two locations, cannot weld metal straps for this, must be wire or chain and can go to frame. 25. (MANDITORY) must have seat bar from door to door with a 6 by 6 plate on ends max. can be welded or bolted to body, also can have dash-bar, may connect dash-bar to seat bar with no down bars to floor, other than drivers door for safety, halo bar can be used but must be attached to floor, NOT FRAME! Only two ½ inch max bolts to attach to roof. No excessive plates for reinforcement. No reinforcing Trans, or driveshaft tunnel, no gas tank protectors, all cage material no further back than 10 inches of back of drivers’ seat. 26. If you need to relocate Trans cross-member you can weld a piece of 2x2x1/4” 6” long angle iron to frame to set the cross-member on. Cross-member can be max 2x2 box tubing. Cross-member may be bolted or welded in place. Trans may be wired or chained to cross-member. 27. Dist. protectors, engine cradles, slider drive shafts, braced rear ends will NOT be allowed in this class!! U may cut firewall for clearance, if it is not a part from the automotive factory you can’t run it, unless authorized.

Full Size Truck ½ and ¾ ton

Jerry Freese OMS 1-218-296-0302 ---------- As of today(3/12) we are sitting at 15 total entries for this show with 2 months left to preregister, May 15 is the deadline and we will not accept any entries after that date. We have spots open in all 4 classes. Once we hit the minimum numbers for a class I will post that info and not before. So if you want to be part of this show get your entries filled out and sent in. And remember NO checks will be cashed until either the show is full or May 15, which ever comes first, and all drivers will be notified 2 days before checks are cashed.

Winners from our last event will receive free entry into our next event regardless of seasons or classes. But for this event each driver must send in entry and entry fee to secure a spot, and at the event 100% of entry fee will be refunded. You must be the driver who won the last event and the driver of this event, NO transferring to another person. You may use this free entry in any class that we have at this event.
